New Patient Center
You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.
You’ll discover that Koester Chiropractic Center is a fun place to be, with team members who are ready to warmly greet you, asking how you are and sharing a laugh with you. We want you to feel relaxed as soon as you step into our office.
The First Visit
When you first call to schedule, the front desk team will tell you where to locate the paperwork necessary for your visit so that you can bring it in completed. Then, Dr. Koester will see you promptly. You’ll have a consultation to discuss your history and current concerns, then move onto an examination and digital X-rays. A light relief treatment is given. Dr. Koester will talk to you about any home care instructions and see you the next day. This appointment takes about 20-25 minutes.
The Second Visit
You’ll be greeted at the door and escorted by our staff to the traction table. They’ll explain how it benefits you. Then, you’ll sit outside of Dr. Koester’s office in the ‘’hot seat,” which means you’ll be seen shortly. We’ll go over your X-rays in a report of findings that details
- The problems we’ve located
- How long it’ll take to get better
- What costs are involved
You’ll receive your first adjustment, using any of several techniques that are chosen based on what’s appropriate for you. Please plan on spending 10-15 minutes with us.
Follow-up Visits
Your regular appointments start with some time on the traction table to loosen up your body. Then, an adjustment takes just a couple minutes, for a total of about 15 minutes per visit.
When you’ve reached your goals, you’ll be released from care. Some patients like to continue seeing us because they feel better and stay healthier. Dr. Koester has been seeing a chiropractor for nearly his entire life, and many of his patients have seen him since he began practicing in 1989. Regular checks, once a month or every 6-8 weeks, can help you feel great, too.
