Meet Dr. Brett Koester
Starting Early for a Healthy Life
With parents who were chiropractic patients, Dr. Koester started seeing the chiropractor at a young age. Rather than going to get help with injuries, chiropractic care was simply a part of his family’s healthy lifestyle. It was after the third year of his undergraduate education that he decided to enter the chiropractic profession.
Staying Informed to Benefit Our Patients
He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. There, he became friends with a core group of people who are still close to this day. They share their knowledge, boosting each other’s practices with the benefit of their many differing experiences. Dr. Koester is also a part of Focus Management, an organization that assists chiropractors in achieving a positive vision of the future.
It’s important to Dr. Koester that he continue learning to benefit his patients and takes regular courses on topics such as whiplash, low back pain and the most technologically advanced chiropractic techniques. He’s very active in our district for the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors. ”I love waking up in the morning and going to work. I am passionate about getting people better, especially people who have been struggling with their health.”
Giving Back to the Florence Community
Dr. Koester and our team feel fortunate to be a part of the annual food drive for the Mary Rose Mission, having raised thousands of dollars in food and monetary donations to feed the needy in Boone County. We recently became involved with The Angel Giving Tree Program at Florence Elementary, where we adopt a family in need for Christmas. We love and appreciate the involvement that our patients have in giving back to our community. ”I have been blessed and look for opportunities to pay it forward. We encourage our patients to join us in participating in drives and events to help others!”
Dr. Koester is a dad to two daughters and a grandpa to two adorable grandsons. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling in his free time.
